Sunhome, Fortress of the Legion
The Boros member of the guild utility-land cycle, and the one built entirely around combat math rather than defense or grind. Each guildhall taps for colorless and carries a single expensive activation; this one points four mana plus a tap at a creature and hands it double strike, about the closest a land has come to deciding a race on its own. The design logic is pure red-white aggression: both colors want to attack, and the activation pays off a board that is already pressing by doubling every point an attacker swings for. A 6/6 becomes twelve damage, a deathtoucher turns into a two-for-one against blockers, and any pump or anthem compounds because both hits of double strike see the bonus. What keeps it from being free value is that it needs a body worth pointing at: it sits inert until the game reaches the damage step, a payoff land and not a setup one. That combat-only orientation is also why it has aged into a clean inclusion for aggressive multicolor builds that want their lands to threaten lethal. It enters untapped and asks nothing of a colored manabase to include, since it makes only colorless; the real price is the steep red-white activation and a turn's worth of resources funneled into one attack step.
