The removal here scales with your ambition, and the design is honest about the trade: cast off a mono-color base and the trigger exiles almost nothing; pay in all five colors and it becomes a scalpel that lifts a planeswalker or a fat threat off the board. Converge turns the generic into a dial. Anyone can jam it, but the payload is gated behind the number of colors of mana spent, so the reward tracks exactly how wide your mana base can actually reach. Exile is the right verb for that ceiling: recursion and death triggers do not get to fight back, which matters most when you have spent the colors to hit something expensive. Paying
to bottom a card from any graveyard is the quieter half, and the reason the 3/3 body stays relevant after the enters trigger resolves. That graveyard interaction never runs dry, useful against a flashback threat or a recursion loop, and it hands an otherwise modest creature a job long after its removal has been spent. This is a design built for players who treat their mana base as a resource to be converted rather than a cost to be minimized: the wider you go, the more it does, and the whole ability is a payout for the greed rather than a tax on it.
