Creature — Elf Druid2 generic manaGreen manaWhite mana

Card-selection with a filter, and the filter is the entire point. A generic impulse dig hands you whatever sits on top; this one narrows the reward to creatures and enchantments, the two card types a Selesnya go-wide or auras shell already wants and nothing else. That pairing cuts both ways: dig four deep in a focused build and you almost never come up empty, but scatter your card types and it whiffs far more often than its depth suggests. The 2/1 body is where the card pays for that selection, a soft frame chosen deliberately so the value lives in the trigger rather than in combat. The random-bottoming clause is the quiet limiter. You smooth your current hand but you never set up your next draw, so the effect cannot be bent into stacking a known top card; it fixes the present without touching the future. The clunkiness of paying four mana for a 2/1 keeps this out of the fast-loop archetypes that abuse cheaper enter-the-battlefield fodder: the trigger wants to fire once, cleanly, for a payoff worth digging toward, not to be recycled turn after turn. Green-white commons like this rarely headline a game. They knit a synergy deck together underneath the cards that do.
