Most card-selection bodies pay for their filtering with a fragile frame, sitting on a 1/3 or a 2/2 that the ground game rolls over the turn after the dig resolves. This one inverts the trade: a 2/5 wall that stonewalls early aggression while its enters-the-battlefield trigger digs four deep and dumps the rejects into the graveyard. The fill clause is the actual engine. Three of the top four cards land in the bin, which is precisely where a delve payoff or a reanimation target wants to sit, so a single trigger reads as one card of selection plus three cards of fuel. The toughness does quiet, load-bearing work: it survives the small-creature attrition that eats most value bodies, letting the controller keep both the block and the dig from the same investment. It asks for nothing back, no sacrifice, no activation, no upkeep tax, just a five-mana commitment across three colors that presumes you already treat your graveyard as a resource. That presumption is the honest limit. Outside a self-mill or graveyard shell, three cards milled is three cards gone, and the effect collapses into a slow, expensive Impulse stapled to a defensive body. Aimed at a deck built to mine its bin, it defends the board while it stocks the yard, which is the entire reason a Snake Shaman in these three colors exists at all.
