Tarmogoyf counted card types: eight of them, a closed list you could hold in your head, which made its size a legible number both players could track and predict. This is the parody, and the target is that legibility itself. The set of subtypes other than creature types has no ceiling: every land subtype, every enchantment subtype, every artifact subtype, every Saga chapter's own line of lore text notwithstanding, every planeswalker type, every one-off invented by a supplemental product. The reminder text drops the pretense of a rules gloss entirely and just gestures at the mess, listing Plains and Equipment and Aura beside Urza's and Ulamog's before shrugging with "absolutely not limited to." Where Tarmogoyf asked you to read two graveyards, this asks you to audit the entire subtype taxonomy across every graveyard in the game and keep a running tally as it shifts. Note the asymmetry buried in the text: power equals the subtype count, but toughness is that number plus one, so the body is never quite square with itself, always one point sturdier than the aggression it projects. The whole thing stays technically resolvable and practically uncomputable, a stress test of the premise that a variable creature's stats should be something you can compute at a glance. Tarmogoyf's elegance lived in the small, knowable list; this demonstrates how fast that elegance collapses once you strip the list of its edges.
