Structural Assault

Two red sweepers stapled together, priced as one. The first half is a mass artifact destruction spell in the mold of Shatterstorm: every artifact on the board is destroyed at once. The second half turns that carnage into ammunition, dealing damage to each creature equal to how many artifacts hit graveyards from the battlefield this turn, which folds in anything that died earlier to sacrifice effects or combat, not just what this spell breaks. That dependency is the whole tension. Against a board with no artifacts, the second clause deals zero and you have paid five mana to blow up nothing; against a Treasure-flooded, equipment-heavy, or artifact-token board, it can post a Pyroclasm-plus number that clears creatures the destruction never touched. The tally is honest about its own mechanics: an artifact that regenerates or is otherwise saved from destruction is not put into the graveyard, so it never counts toward the damage, and a resilient artifact board caps the ceiling on its own. Red almost never gets to punish creatures for a board state it did not create, and this rewrites that boundary by making an opponent's artifact density the fuel. The five-mana sorcery cost and the empty-board floor keep it from being a catch-all; it belongs to the small family of conditional sweepers whose ceiling and floor are set entirely by the opponent, a reactive tool that reads the table rather than dictating to it.
