The second mode is where the design shows its hand: a green instant that pushes a Saga two chapters forward, then arranges for the turn's next enchantment creatures to arrive fatter than they should. That is a very specific pair of levers to hand a single card, and it only pays off if a deck treats Sagas and enchantment creatures as a shared resource rather than two unrelated card types. The buff clause is the wrinkle, and it is forward-looking: it waits for the next enchantment creatures you control to enter this turn, each picking up two extra +1/+1 counters, so the value hinges on a chapter trigger or a cast that resolves after the spell, not before. Advance a Saga to a chapter that makes a token or body, and the same card that sped it there also pads what it leaves behind. Without that overlap the spell collapses into its first mode: two +1/+1 counters at instant speed, a size bump with no real combat deception behind it. What keeps the two halves feeling like one card is that both speak in counters, so it reads as coherent to a deck built around growing permanents even on the turns the Saga line is dead. It is a purpose-built enabler for a narrow build, generous inside it and forgettable outside it, the kind of card whose worth is decided entirely by whether the surrounding pieces showed up.
