Two power in the air for two mana, no upside text, no downside cost: this is white-weenie curve filler stripped to its load-bearing minimum. The 2/1 body is the whole argument. Power before toughness is the aggressive split, trading durability for clock, so it dies to nearly every removal spell and trades down against most two-drops on the ground, but none of that is the point. The job is to start hitting on turn three and keep hitting over blockers, and a 2/1 flyer does that for about as cheap as white asks. It belongs to the long line of plain evasive beaters white-based aggro has run since the earliest days of the game, the spiritual descendants of Savannah Lions stapled to a pair of wings. What keeps it honest is what makes it expendable: that fragile back end means any pinger, any chump-block-then-fight line, any one-damage sweeper erases it, so the deck running it is built to win before that math catches up. Designed as a common-rarity attacker for a tempo-forward white aggro shell, it asks for nothing and rewards nothing beyond showing up early and flying over the wall.
