Bounce stapled to a body, aimed squarely at the two permanent types that built the locking board states of an earlier age: artifacts and enchantments. The 1/2 frame is incidental cover; the enter trigger is the reason to run it. Cast at sorcery speed like any creature, it trades raw immediacy for repeatability, because the trigger fires every time the Wizard hits the battlefield: any blink, reanimation, or return-to-hand effect resets the engine and sends another permanent home. Against an artifact mana rock, a parasitic enchantment lock, or some other setup piece, returning it to hand erases the investment turn and taxes the opponent the full recast. The trigger carries no "may": it is mandatory and must find a legal target whenever one exists, which can turn the Wizard against you when the only artifact on the table is your own. That compulsion is the price the design pays for handing two-mana bounce to a recurring creature; if you could decline the target at will, a body this cheap would warp every artifact and enchantment matchup it touched. Even with the catch, the answer stays soft on purpose: it returns, it never destroys or exiles, and it ignores everything that is not an artifact or enchantment. That keeps it inside blue's old tradition of answers that delay rather than solve, a Wizard who inconveniences your engine, dares you to rebuild it, and then promises to come back and make you do it twice.
