Stampeding Rhino
Five mana for a 4/4 with trample is the rate a core-set common uses to teach the keyword without bending the curve. The body is the point of comparison: green has always had bigger trampling creatures, but this one is built deliberately flat, a vanilla statline plus the single word that turns its size into face damage when a chump blocker steps in front. That is the lesson the card exists to deliver. A 4/4 trampler answers the new player's first question about why anyone blocks a green attacker with a 1/1, and it does so at a low cost. As a constructed-relevant card it has nothing to offer that better-statted or cheaper green beaters do not, and it was never meant to; its job is to be the clean, legible reference point for how trample turns a creature's size into damage.
