Stalker Hag

Creature — HagBlack or Green manaBlack or Green manaBlack or Green mana

Landwalk has always been a wager on the opponent's manabase, and the construction here doubles down on that bet with a strange symmetry. Swampwalk and forestwalk read as a redundant pair until you notice what they rhyme with: the Black or Green manaBlack or Green manaBlack or Green mana cost means any black or green deck can cast it, and the two evaded land types mean any opponent controlling a Swamp or Forest can't block it. The three hybrid pips and the two evasion keywords describe the same two colors twice, once for who plays the card and once for who can't answer it. Against an opponent whose lands include a Swamp or Forest, the 3/2 connects unconditionally; against anyone playing neither Swamp nor Forest, the evasion is dead text and the body is left to trade in open combat. That inversion is the whole point: the creature is most reliable exactly where the metagame is most hostile to it, and inert where the opposing manabase happens to be clean of its targets. It rewards the mirror it cannot escape. The denser its two colors run through a format, the cleaner its edge becomes, which makes it a self-correcting threat in the strangest sense: a card that gets better the more its opponents resemble the deck that cast it.
