Spider-Girl, Legacy Hero

Legendary Creature — Spider Human HeroGreen manaWhite mana

A two-drop that reads as both an aggressive early play and a resilient one, which is a harder balance to strike than the stat line suggests. Conditional flying is the older half of the design: an evasive body that only threatens on your own turn, so it swings in the air and blocks on the ground as a plain 2/2, giving up the ambush that keyless flyers usually keep. The leaves-the-battlefield clause is where the card earns its keep. Most small aggressive creatures are pure tempo: they trade or die and leave nothing behind, and the opponent's removal is a clean one-for-one. Attaching a token to the departure closes that door. A kill spell, a chump block, a sacrifice outlet, an edict, a bounce recast into a second exit: all of them still hand you a 1/1 on the way out, so the interaction meant to answer the card ends up paying you for the trouble. That structure is what makes the body worth building around in a go-wide shell, where a spare Human Citizen is never dead: it fills a slot, feeds an anthem, or crews the next attack. The evasion keeps the individual body relevant while it lives. Neither half is loud on its own, but together they describe a creature that is genuinely annoying to remove profitably.
