Sphinx Summoner
A tutor that fetches another body, which is a rarer thing than it sounds. Most creature-based tutors in blue and black pull a card to hand and ask nothing else of you; this one restricts the search to artifact creatures, which in practice means the payoff cards in an artifact deck are also the things you can dig for. Because it shares the Sphinx type and an artifact-creature body, it can find copies of itself, chaining toward whatever colorless threat the deck wants to land next. The five-mana, 3/3-flying frame is the toll: the rate is unremarkable, so the card earns its slot only in a shell where the artifact creatures it retrieves are worth the detour. That narrows the design to one job, finding a specific artifact-creature bomb or a missing combo piece, and pays for the tutor with a body that contributes to the board instead of merely cantripping. The reveal clause keeps the effect honest in multiplayer by telegraphing what you grabbed, but the real constraint is the type line on every legal target: in a deck without artifact creatures worth tutoring for, this is a flier with no second act.
