Sparkspitter
The Spellshaper conceit is that a permanent lets you re-cast a spell each turn for card-plus-mana, and the spell being rebuilt here is one of red's most committed beaters: a 3/1 with trample and haste that vanishes at end of turn, recreated on demand from a body that survives the exchange. That is the whole economy. The token is fragile and cheap by design so that the activation can be repeated, and each repetition costs a real card off the top, a red mana, and the tap. Three trampling damage that does not stick around is a real clock if you keep paying for it, but you are spending a card every turn to deliver it. The producer's own stat line is the quiet decision that keeps the engine alive: a sturdy-enough body walls early aggression and shrugs off the small burn that would otherwise snipe the producer before it earns its keep, while never threatening to close on its own. Discard-as-cost cuts in an interesting direction too: the more your hand decays, the more the card wants to keep firing, which lines it up with any payoff that wants cards in the graveyard rather than the hand, turning the thrown-away card into a second resource. The result is a haste-token factory built for a deck with cards to burn and a clock it needs to finish.
