Snarespinner
Reach on a green two-drop is nothing new; the wrinkle here is that blocking a flier doesn't just stop the damage, it turns the block into a kill. A 1/3 body absorbs most early evasive attackers and survives, but the +2/+0 fires only in that specific combat step, only against a creature with flying, and only when this Spider is the one declaring the block. Those three conditions are the whole price of the pump: it becomes a 3/3 for a single turn against exactly the thing green struggles to touch, and does nothing extra against ground creatures or when it attacks. It answers a long-standing color-pie problem (green's traditional weakness to flying) by aiming the reward at the evasive threat rather than the board generally. The design is a defensive specialist wearing an unremarkable two-drop's stat line: cheap enough to hold up early, sticky enough to trade up against evasion, and completely inert against a deck with nothing in the air to punish.
