Smuggler's Buggy
Hideaway usually asks the payoff to be an aura you sink into a permanent: a lucky look at the top four cards, a spell tucked away until some threshold flips. This one hard-wires the threshold to combat, and the wire runs both ways. Landing the Vehicle's damage lets you cast the exiled card for free, but the same trigger bounces the Vehicle to hand, which means the hideaway resets on the next cast. You are not building toward one big payoff; you are running a repeatable free-cast engine on a 5/5 body that only needs a single crew of 2 to swing. The tension the design resolves is that hideaway's free spell has always been a one-time reward for meeting a condition, and here the condition (connect once) is trivial while the reward recharges every time you replay the artifact. The randomization on the bottom-of-library clause keeps you honest about what you exile: you look at four, keep one, and lose visibility on the other three, so the exiled card is a bet placed before combat, not a tutor. Crewing it cheaply and getting it through unblocked is the whole loop, and the bounce that punishes most Vehicles is precisely what makes this one an engine rather than a single spent trigger.
