Skysnare Spider
Vigilance and reach on the same body answer the two questions a green deck most wants covered at once: who stops the air, and who can still attack without leaving the ground undefended. A 6/6 already trades up or eats almost anything green is likely to face on the floor, and reach extends that wall skyward so the flyers a midrange green deck struggles against run into the same brick. Vigilance breaks the choice most defensive bodies this size force on you: swing or hold back a blocker, one or the other. This one sends six ground damage on the crackback while standing ready to catch the next attack, fliers included. The tradeoff sits in the price. Six mana buys a vanilla-plus body with no evasion, no enters-the-battlefield value, and no way to break a stalled board open on its own: a ceiling, not a centerpiece. This is an archetype piece, built to stabilize a creature deck against an aggressive opponent and then grind the game out from a position of safety. The keyword pairing carries the whole card, and it is a genuinely efficient one for the body, but the rate asks you to want exactly that and nothing more.
