The design gamble here is stapling a repeatable pump to the one archetype already built around lands entering the battlefield. This is a strange fusion: the equip cost gates it to sorcery speed, but the trigger fires whenever a land enters, so once it is attached the payoff runs on autopilot every time you make a land drop, crack a fetch, or bounce a land back and replay it. That self-attach clause on entry keeps the single-mana front end honest; you pay an aura-like tempo cost the first time, but unlike an aura the buff survives the equipped creature dying, and you can pay the heavier equip cost later to move it onto a fresh threat. The +2/+2 fades at end of turn, which stops it from stacking into something unbounded and welds the reward to the attack step: land, then swing. It rewards a manabase engineered to churn lands, which is the whole reason to pair an aggressive green shell with fetches or land recursion. As a piece of construction it sits in the tradition of cheap green equipment that wants a wide, mana-hungry board, but the landfall hook drags it toward a narrower, more deliberate build than the rate alone would suggest.
