Skyclave Aerialist // Skyclave Invader
A 2/1 flyer for two mana is a fine early beater and a dead card by turn eight; this one refuses to become dead. The flip cost leans on a hybrid Phyrexian symbol, which quietly divorces the transform ability from color: a green deck spends four generic and a green, while a deck running no green at all pays four and two life to reach the same flip. The gate is sorcery speed, so there is no mid-combat surprise; the payoff is a mana sink that turns a stalled evasive body into ramp and smoothing, pulling a land into play (or a nonland into hand) as the game grinds long. What is worth noticing about the construction is the way it splits value across the game's arc: the front half never needs to transform to have earned its slot, and the back half sits in reserve for exactly the turns when a 2/1 in the air has stopped closing games. That double duty is what lets the card slot into ramp shells well outside mono-green without asking for any deckbuilding tax beyond the mana to eventually pay it off.
