Sky Skiff
Crew 1 is the lowest entry fee a Vehicle can ask for, and that is the entire pitch here: a single tapped creature with one power, any creature, animates a flying 2/3 that does not die to the things that kill the creatures crewing it. The body sits in a comfortable spot for a two-drop evasive threat, but the design lives in the gap between the Vehicle's stats and its crew cost. Most cheap fliers in this slot are fragile bears that trade poorly and fold to sweepers; an uncrewed Vehicle is an artifact, not a creature, so it sits out the board wipe and waits for the next attack step. That is the structural trick Vehicles introduced as a category, and Sky Skiff is one of the cleanest, most affordable expressions of it on the low end of the curve. The crew cost being a flat 1 rather than scaling by power means even a creature too small to matter in combat earns its keep by tapping to send the Skiff into the air. All the deck has to supply is a warm body, and that light demand is exactly what lets it function as evasive pressure rather than a build-around.
