Skin Invasion // Skin Shedder
Read as a curse, this is an Aura that forces a creature into every attack step; read correctly, that forced-attack clause is a fuse. The compulsion is the same one you inflict on an opponent's blocker to walk it into a bad trade, but here it is wired to a delayed reward: on the death of the enchanted creature, the Insect Horror crawls out transformed under your control, regardless of who controlled the body that died. That "under your control" clause is the hinge that lets the card cut both ways. Slap it on your own disposable token or mana dork and every chump block, every sacrifice outlet, every trade you were going to make anyway launders a piece of cardboard into a creature. Slap it on an opponent's utility creature and you force it to charge into your defenses, and if it dies there you keep the payoff yourself; the drawback and the delivery are the same clause aimed in different directions. Until that death arrives the front half does nothing you want, which is the tension the design lives on: the value is entirely on the flip side, and the forced attack exists to hurry the enchanted creature toward the grave that fires it. It is a small self-contained conversion engine dressed as an aggro curse, and the two readings are not opposed so much as the same tool held from either end.
