Signature Slam
The counters-matter archetype has always struggled with a payoff that closes games rather than just building toward them. Grow a board of modified creatures and you still have to attack, still have to get through blockers, still have to survive a sweeper before the math pays off. This collapses that plan into a single instant: pump one creature, then turn the whole modified team into a coordinated removal spell that fires all at once, without touching the combat step. The wording does careful work. The +1/+1 counter it grants makes its own target a modified creature, so the pumped body is guaranteed to count itself among the damage-dealers; you are never left needing to already own two modified creatures for the spell to accomplish anything. Every Equipment, every Aura, every counter you have banked becomes stored power aimed at a single creature you don't control, reframing an entire subtheme's incidental modifications as latent burn. Resolving at instant speed and reading power on resolution, it doubles as a combat trick that ambushes an attacker or blocker after the counter lands, sidestepping the sorcery-speed vulnerability that hamstrings most green removal. This is green removal that scales with how deeply you have committed to the modified-creatures plan: proof that the board you built was always a weapon, not just a wall.
