Sigiled Behemoth

Creature — Beast4 generic manaGreen manaWhite mana

Exalted on a six-drop is a tension worth pausing on. The keyword rewards attacking with a single creature, pumping one body toward lethal while the rest of the board holds back; it is a mechanic built for small, aggressive boards that want one threat to carry the swing. Hanging it on a 5/4 that costs six creates a quiet contradiction, because the creature most likely to attack alone here is the Behemoth itself, and a single +1/+1 on an already-big body is not the payoff the ability dreams of. The honest read is that the 5/4 frame is the cost of admission and the Exalted instance is the contribution: this is a creature you play for the trigger it lends to a one-drop or an evasive attacker that wants to connect solo, with a hard-to-kill body attached for when the plan stalls. That makes it less a finisher than a board piece in a deck stacking multiple Exalted sources, where each instance stacks on whichever attacker goes alone, every source firing off the same lone-attacker trigger. As a standalone the rate is unremarkable, but the keyword's additive nature is the entire reason it exists: the design assumes you are not reading this card in isolation, and neither was it written to be.
