The choose-one on entry is the oldest lever in the box for making a cheap body pull its weight in two directions, and this one splits along the classic Azorius axis: a flying blocker or a fresh card. Both halves feed the same plan rather than sitting as unrelated modes. The Robot Hero token is a colorless artifact creature, so it registers with artifact-matters triggers as much as with anything wanting a flying body; the draw mode keeps the card live when the board is not where the value is. Vigilance on a 2/2 for three is the quiet part: it lets the creature attack without surrendering the defensive posture the token half is trying to build, so the body never has to pick between pressuring and holding the ground. The design is deliberately low-ceiling and high-floor. It does not loop, it does not go infinite on its own, and the artificer-hero framing points at a build that reuses enters-the-battlefield triggers rather than one that leans on this creature as a payoff. That is the honest read: a modal two-drop-plus-one that wants to be blinked, copied, and returned, valued for the flexibility of the choice and the artifact-typed token it leaves behind, not for anything it does in isolation.
