A 6/6 trampler for is a body that should cost you the rest of your deck to deploy, and the design does the unusual thing of pricing the discount as a public auction rather than a fixed downside. The penalty isn't yours to control: when the beast lands, any player may sacrifice a land of their own to bounce it back to its owner's library, where you redraw and recast it next turn at full freight. That offer is the whole engine. An opponent has to decide whether your 6/6 is scary enough right now to be worth a land they will never get back, which turns a beater into a Stone Rain that only fires when someone flinches, and one whose bill might be footed by exactly the wrong person. It descends from a handful of red beasts whose oversized frames come stapled to a "punish the suspicious" clause, where the real cost is the read on the table rather than the mana. The body is bluntly above rate; the mechanism is built so that rate is never free.
