Sharpshooter Elf

Anti-flyer hate has always been the ugly stepchild of green's toolkit: reach is a passive tax on the air, and the color's proactive answers to evasion tend to be narrow, awkward, or conditional. This reframes the job as a scaling arrow. The power-equals-your-creatures clause counts the Elf itself, so it never enters as a blank; on an empty board it arrives as a 1/2 that plinks for one. But the trigger only starts to matter once you have committed to the board, and the damage it throws scales with exactly the kind of go-wide green deck that would otherwise fold to an evasive threat sitting out of combat range. The constraints keep it a design piece rather than a blunt instrument: it fires only on entry, only at a flyer, only one an opponent controls, and it deals precisely its power. In a token or Elf-heavy shell, that enter trigger becomes a Plummet stapled to a body, and the reach is not incidental: the same creature that shoots down one flyer on arrival stays back to wall the next, folding removal and defense into one slot. Rerun the trigger through blink or bounce effects and the arrow reloads, though absent those you get a single answer wearing a blocker. It is a small, honest fix to a problem green has historically solved by simply having a bigger board, given a shape that finally rewards that plan directly.
