Kinship as a mechanic was usually a low-stakes coin flip, and most cards built around it rewarded a hit with something small and incremental: a token, a point of life, a counter. This one swings the whole table instead. When the flip connects, every player empties their hand and refills to four, which means the upside is not "I get value" but "everyone resets, and I chose when." That reframes the card from a creature into a symmetrical wheel on a recurring trigger, and symmetry is the design tension worth sitting with: the effect helps your opponents exactly as much as it helps you, so the payoff only tilts your way if you have built to dump your hand before upkeep and treat the redraw as gravy. The Goblin type line is doing real load-bearing work, since a Goblin-dense deck is what keeps the kinship reveal live turn after turn, and the redraw refuels a swarm faster than it refuels a controlling opponent sitting on lands. A 2/2 body for is incidental; the card is a repeatable, conditional Wheel of Fortune stapled to a creature, governed by whether your library is consistent enough to keep firing the trigger. The honesty of the design lives in that condition: a miss does nothing, so the engine demands tribal density rather than rewarding a splash as a value piece.
