The sacrifice clause is the interesting part, because it is optional: you choose whether to sacrifice, and only "when you do" does the counter and the card follow. That reflexive triggered structure means the payoff resolves as its own trigger on the stack, distinct from the enters ability; you commit the artifact, and the two-part reward follows. The body is a fair rate that asks nothing of you, and everything above the 3/4 is upside you can decline on any turn the board does not want it. Where it earns its keep is a deck already churning artifacts through the graveyard: tokens, equipment you have outgrown, spent Treasure, or a creature about to die anyway. Feeding one of those into the trigger converts a resource you were done with into a growth counter and a fresh card, which is the quiet arithmetic that makes an artifact-heavy midrange shell tick. The counter targeting any creature (not just this one) is the wrinkle that widens the design: it can grow an evasive threat, push a creature out of a burn spell's range, or simply enable a sacrifice-and-recur loop where the body being fed and the body being buffed are two different plans. It is a value engine that runs on the artifacts other cards have already cashed out, and it never forces the payment on a turn the trade does not favor you.
