Segovian Angel

Creature — AngelWhite mana

Flying and vigilance on a one-mana body is a rate that used to be reserved for two- and three-drops, and stapling both onto a single white pip is the whole design point: this is a downshift experiment, a self-consciously undersized angel built to test how much evasive resilience the game can price at the very bottom of the curve. The 1/1 is what pays for it. Vigilance means nothing on a creature this small in a race, and the flying threatens no clock worth naming, so the abilities read less as combat tools than as texture: a one-drop that pings for one in the air every turn without tapping out of blocking duty. The Segovia setting places it among miniatures, a plane where everything is tiny by scale, and the flavor tracks the mechanics exactly. Where a card like this earns its slot is in decks that count Angels, that flicker or copy small bodies, or that want the cheapest possible flier to carry an aura or an anthem. As a standalone creature it is deliberately, almost archivally modest; as a piece of tribal or go-wide plumbing it is the kind of clean, keyword-dense one-drop that fills a gap without warping anything.
