The clause "while you control a token" is doing quiet structural work: this is a one-drop that costs nothing extra to enable but demands you already be building the board a token deck wants to build. A bare 1/2 for one is a body no aggressive deck would run; a 3/2 that attacks the turn you have any token active is a genuine curve-topper's problem. The condition checks at the moment of the attack declaration, so a single Clue, Treasure, or leftover creature token flips the switch, and the buff refreshes every combat rather than counting down. That makes it a payoff dressed as an enabler: it wants to be cast turn one, but it does not reward you until the go-wide plan is already underway, which means it sits in the tension every token-aggro deck lives inside (spend early on the engine, or spend early on the beaters). The pump is only power, never toughness, so it hits harder without surviving better, keeping the card honest as an attacker rather than a blocker. A modest, well-targeted piece for a swarm strategy that pays a one-drop's rate to convert token width into pressure.
