Seasoned Pyromancer
The rare card that turns your worst cards into your best draw. Rummaging effects have always been the loser's discount: pitch two, draw two, break even on card count while filtering toward what you actually want. This one reroutes that transaction into a resource engine. Every nonland card you discard comes back as a body, so the "cost" of the filter becomes token production, and lands you rip and toss are pure card selection at no board penalty. The math rewards a build that wants to be discarding anyway: reanimation targets, flashback fodder, delve fuel, anything with value in the graveyard. Discard two spells you were storing for later and you have replaced them with two fresh cards plus two attackers, all stapled to a 2/2 that dies happy because its job was the enters trigger. The graveyard activation is the second act: once the body is gone, the exile ability reads as a delayed payoff, converting a dead card into more tokens whenever mana is idle. That two-phase design (a front-loaded filter-plus-bodies stapled to a back-end token spell) is the wrinkle other cantrip-attached creatures never had. It does not just replace itself; it keeps paying after it leaves, and it pays best when the cards leaving your hand were never meant to be cast.
