Season of Growth

Two engines stapled together, each rewarding a different half of the green-white Auras-and-pump strategy that enchantress decks have chased since the earliest sets. The scry trigger asks you to flood the board: every creature that enters smooths your next draw, so a go-wide plan gets a low-grade card-selection refund on each token or dork. The second clause is the more aggressive of the two, and it rewards the opposite instinct: it turns every spell you cast at your own creatures into a cantrip. Pump spells, protective instants, Auras cast onto your board, even removal you point at your own creature to save it from something worse: all of it replaces itself. Note the boundary the wording draws, though: it triggers on casting a spell, not on any targeting, so equip abilities and other activated targeted effects leave it cold. The tension in the design is that the two triggers pull toward slightly different builds, one wide, one spell-dense, and a deck that leans hard into targeting its own board turns a two-drop enchantment into a genuine card-advantage motor while everyone else is trading one-for-one. That the cantrip clause fires off spells aimed at your creatures, not any creature, is the detail that points the card squarely at the pilot doing the buffing rather than the opponent doing the killing. It is a permission slip to run the kind of low-impact combat tricks a fair deck normally cannot afford, because here they draw a card on the way.
