A two-mana enchantment that asks for nothing but patience and a graveyard willing to fill itself. The surveil clause does double duty: it smooths your draws while feeding the graveyard toward the seven-card threshold that unlocks the flip. The front side is a slow, low-risk investment; the back side, a land that taps for blue and digs four deep for any noncreature, nonland card, is the payoff that justifies the wait. That selection carries no timing restriction, so it can fire on an opponent's end step or in response to interaction, which is why it slots so cleanly into blue control: it accumulates card selection without ever tapping out at a vulnerable moment. The transform requirement also doubles as protection. Enchantment removal answers the front side, but once it flips it becomes a legendary land, and removal aimed at lands is scarcer than removal aimed at two-mana enchantments. What makes this such a durable engine piece is that it generates advantage without occupying a creature slot or demanding a fresh card each draw step: it sits, it surveils, and eventually it becomes a mana source that refills your hand on a permanent most decks cannot cleanly answer. The cost is time and a graveyard you are willing to stock, exactly the bargain blue control was built to make.
