Sculpted Perfection
An anthem that ships with its own recipient. Most tribal anthems assume you have already committed a board of the relevant creature type; this one enters, hands you an Incubator, and only then starts paying its +1/+1 to Phyrexians you control. The Incubate token is the load-bearing piece, and it is generous about it: the token arrives already carrying its two counters, so once you pay to transform it the Phyrexian lands as a functioning body on its own merits, then grows further under the anthem. That sequencing means the enchantment is never a dead resolve, even in a deck short on Phyrexians, because it always leaves at least one Incubator token waiting to be transformed. The Phyrexian creature type is the through-line that ties both halves together, connecting the card to the broader compleation subtheme and the artifact-creature tokens that populate it. What makes the card cohere is that both halves want the same thing: the Incubate feeds the anthem a target, and the anthem rewards turning the Incubator into something the buff can actually touch. It is a two-card engine folded into a single four-mana enchantment, built for a deck that treats Phyrexian as a tribe rather than a flavor line.
