Screeching Harpy
The design tells you exactly which problem this Harpy was built to solve: not aggression, but persistence. A 2/2 flyer for four mana is a body the opponent expects to trade with in combat or kill cheaply, and the regeneration clause refuses that exchange. For a modest investment the Harpy walks back into a block or survives outright destruction, turning a fragile evasive threat into one that demands a real answer rather than a casual one. The regeneration is precise about what it covers, though: it protects against destruction, not against everything. A creature whose toughness is dropped to zero is put into the graveyard as a state-based action, which regeneration cannot undo, so this body still folds to a -X/-X effect even with the shield up. The flying matters less as a clock than as insurance that the activated ability is being paid on a creature that can still get through unblocked. There is nothing clever happening beyond that pairing: an evasive attacker the opponent cannot trade with profitably in combat and cannot easily destroy, where the toggle is what earns the card its keep rather than the underwhelming stats. The Harpy creature type was a recurring black flavor flourish across this stretch of design, and this is a representative specimen: small, mean, and built to keep coming back from the kind of answer that kills by destroying.
