Scrambleverse

Sorcery6 generic manaRed manaRed mana

Total chaos, randomized and untargeted: every nonland permanent on the board gets shuffled out to a player chosen at random, with no guarantee anyone comes out ahead, including the caster. Where most "give away your stuff" effects in red are structured deals (a swap, a temporary loan, a calculated trade of one threat for another), this is pure entropy. There is no math to do, no board state you can plan around, because the assignment happens by a random choice per permanent after the spell resolves. That untap clause matters more than it looks: everything lands untapped, so the new owners can immediately weaponize whatever they were handed, which is part of why the spell so often blows the table up rather than settling it. It belongs to red's tradition of randomized group-pandemonium effects, the kind built to detonate a multiplayer board for the spectacle rather than to win on the spot. Eight mana buys you a die roll on the entire battlefield, and the caster is statistically no more likely to benefit than anyone else. That is the whole appeal and the whole risk: a spell that refuses to be a tool, functioning instead as a reset button nobody controls.
