Scarland Thrinax
A free sacrifice outlet that grows on what it eats, with no mana cost and no per-turn cap on the activation. That combination is the whole engine: every creature you control is a +1/+1 counter waiting to happen, and the only ceiling is how many bodies you can feed it before someone removes it. The body itself starts at 2/2 for three colors, which is unremarkable until you remember that the activation makes it a sink for tokens, dying creatures, and anything with a death trigger you want fired at instant speed. Pair it with a token producer or a recursive creature and the math turns lopsided in a hurry. The friction is structural rather than written: it has no haste, no evasion, and no protection, so the counters accumulate on a creature that still has to survive a turn to attack with them, and the outlet only ever pumps itself, never another threat. What it offers in return is a repeatable, manaless way to convert board presence into a single large attacker and to dodge exile-based removal by sacrificing in response. The three-color cost keeps it out of two-color sacrifice shells, but in a deck already committed to black, red, and green, it is a sacrifice outlet, a mana-free aristocrats enabler, and a finisher folded into one creature.
