A 2/2 body with a small entry rider, the two life stapled to the front is a trace of upside on a defensive drop whose real job is to trade in combat and hold ground for a turn. The lifegain triggers on entry and asks nothing in return, which is the point. It rounds off the body and buys back a sliver against an early race, but it is not a piece you assemble around; nobody builds toward two incidental life. The Cat Cleric line gives it a foothold in tribal and lifegain shells that occasionally scan for those tags, though the trigger is too small and the frame too plain to earn a slot on typing alone. What it delivers is the whole of what a curve-filling common is meant to deliver, and it reaches no further than that.
