This is the version of Sarkhan who came home and made peace with himself, and the card design follows the redemption arc: where his earlier incarnations channeled rage and destruction, this one builds. The plus ability is the rare planeswalker tick that both refills your hand and fixes a three-color manabase in a single action, ticking him up while paying for the spells you just drew. That is a quietly demanding piece of design, because a three-color planeswalker that has to survive its first turn usually cannot also accelerate you; this one does both, which is why it sits so comfortably at the top of a greedy curve. The minus-two spits out a 4/4 flier that defends the loyalty it cost, a clean exchange that keeps the engine running while it threatens to close. And the ultimate is the dragon-tribal payoff in its most undiluted form: not a single big finisher but the whole sky, every Dragon in your deck dropped onto the battlefield at once. The throughline is a planeswalker that wants you to play dragons and rewards you for it at every loyalty band, drawing into them, generating the colored mana to cast them, making one outright, then summoning the entire roost. It is the closest the game has come to a planeswalker built as a tribal lord rather than a goodstuff value piece, and the tribe it serves is the one Sarkhan was always meant to lead.
