Sage's Nouliths
Point the untap trigger at the equipped creature and you have manufactured vigilance out of nothing, no keyword required. Point it at a second attacker and you keep a blocker or a crewer upright while it still swings, or you free the mana dork you sent in as a beater. That reach, self-targeting or across the whole attacking board, is the trick, and it scales with how wide you commit. The rest of the package exists to make sure the trigger is never wasted: Job select spawns the 1/1 Hero token pre-equipped, so the piece never sits inert waiting for a legal wearer, the classic dead-weight problem of cheap Equipment. That fragile body is what keeps the engine honest. A single removal spell folds the whole thing unless you reattach, and reattachment runs the steeper Hagneia equip of rather than the cheap first attach, so recovering the untap loop is a real tempo hit. Turning the wearer into a Cleric is the quiet tribal rider, a line a two-mana untap piece would never need but happily provides. It reads as curve-filling utility, yet the untap trigger does genuine combat-math work in any board built to attack in numbers, converting an alpha strike into a rolling one that stays defended between turns.
