Ruination Guide
A lord that doesn't care about creature type, only about color, or the absence of it. Devoid is the quiet enabler: by stripping color off every Eldrazi printed alongside it, the mechanic minted a tribe defined by what its members lack, and this is the body that rewards that lack with +1/+0 across the team. The anthem keys off "colorless," not "Eldrazi," which is a wider umbrella than a typal lord usually gets: it scales any token, any artifact creature, any devoid drone you can flood the board with. Ingest is the texture on top. The 3/2 doesn't fill a graveyard when it connects; it exiles the top card of the defender's library, and that distinction is the whole point. Those exiled cards aren't gone, they're fuel, waiting for the processor package built to cash them back in. So the pairing is the archetype's design intent in miniature: an aggressive colorless beater that hits for damage and seeds a second resource at the same time. The job is to be the curve-filler that turns a pile of small colorless bodies into a clock, with the +1/+0 making the eighth one-power drone matter. The Ingest trigger and the static anthem do enough that calling this a plain beatdown lord undersells it; read inside its archetype, it's the piece that makes "colorless aggro" cohere rather than scatter into a heap of off-color creatures.
