Menace does real work in getting the trigger online, forcing two blockers so combat resolves in your favor whether it connects or trades. Four toughness is enough to punch upward and demand an unfavorable double-block, and either outcome flips the switch. The symmetric refill only breaks in your direction because you arrived at the empty hand first; hand this to a control deck and you have simply reloaded your enemies. The landcycling attachments are the pressure-release valve for a six-mana beater that produces nothing while it sits in hand: a clogged draw or a missing red source turns it into a two-mana Mountain tutor, spent without a second thought. That optionality keeps the top of a red deck's curve from stalling out. A construct built to hit hard and detonate, with the discard-and-draw as its parting shot rather than a plan you assemble around.
