Rimehorn Aurochs

Aurochs tribal is one of the smallest, most self-contained archetypes the game has ever floated, and this is the payoff piece that asks you to commit to it. The attack trigger scales with every other attacking Aurochs, which means the card does little as a singleton and grows increasingly absurd as a herd: this beater swings larger for every other snow Aurochs alongside it. Trample is doing real work alongside the pump, because the point of stacking power onto this creature is converting it into damage that chump blockers cannot soak up. The ability to force a creature to block gives the herd a removal-adjacent function: you can eat an opposing threat in combat or drag a blocker out of position, all powered by the snow mana the deck is already producing. That snow requirement is the connective tissue. The same lands that fuel the lockdown ability are the lands the supporting Aurochs lean on, so a deck built to count horned beasts is also a deck built to keep snow sources online, and the two halves of the design pull in the same direction. It is a deliberately narrow build, a top-end reward for a tribe that lives or dies by its critical mass, a curiosity to anyone not already keeping that count.
