Battle cry has always been a go-wide keyword: a lord effect that only pays out when you have a board to pump, which is why it lived and died with token swarms. This one changes the math on the attack step by bolting a tap trigger onto the same swing. Every turn it attacks, it pumps the rest of the team and neutralizes a blocker before combat damage, so the +1/+0 lands on a board the defender can no longer fully answer. That pairing is the design point: battle cry alone rewards board width, but a single tap converts width into unblocked reach, turning a marginal alpha strike into lethal. The 2/4 body is the quiet enabler here, sized to survive the swing and keep coming back rather than to close games itself, which is unusual for a creature whose whole job is aggression. It wants to attack every turn, and the toughness lets it. Where most anthem creatures ask you to overextend to profit, this one shrinks the opponent's blocking crew while it widens yours, attacking the same combat step from both sides.
