The choice each landfall trigger asks for is the whole design problem this card was built to solve: bank a body or swing for damage? Most landfall payoffs of its era picked a lane, a token-maker, a pump effect, a draw engine; folding both options into a single trigger turns the enchantment into a tempo dial you reset every time a land hits. Early in a game with an empty board, the Kor Ally mode is the obvious pick, building a width that has somewhere to go later. Once that width exists, the +1/+1 mode converts it into reach. A fetchland is where the modality gets sharp: crack it during your combat step and the land entering triggers landfall right when the pump matters, so an anthem that would otherwise be locked into your first main phase can arrive mid-attack. The catch is that a missed land drop leaves it idle, so it wants a shell already leaning on extra land drops rather than one bent toward it. This is a payoff attached to a plan, not the seed of one: a go-wide white deck wants the token mode, an aggressive one wants the anthem, and the modality means neither commitment has to be made at deckbuilding time. It sits in the line of white go-wide enchantments that convert a land-heavy curve into board presence, distinguished by refusing to lock you into how that presence gets spent.
