Resistance Reunited

A combat trick built for a deck most combat tricks ignore: the Equipment player. The +2/+2 is generic, the sort of pump any two-mana instant might carry, but the second half aims somewhere much more specific. Granting indestructible to every equipped creature you control, not the single target you buffed, rewards a board where multiple bodies are carrying gear rather than one lord holding a sword. That turns a one-creature blowout into a mass-protection instant that also happens to win a single fight. The timing window is where the payoff lives: held up, it makes a board wipe whiff and turns a favorable double-block into a one-sided trade, since indestructible answers both the "destroy" effect and the combat damage that would otherwise kill your attackers. The two clauses pull toward opposite board states, and that tension is the reason to hold the card rather than jam it. The pump wants the one creature you're pushing through; the indestructible wants the whole team dressed in Equipment. Cast on a lone unequipped creature, it's a plain and slightly overcosted trick. Cast across a suited-up battlefield with a wrath on the stack, it's a two-mana insurance policy that keeps an entire attack alive. The card is honest about who it's for; the ceiling only appears when the Equipment count does.
