Rescue, Pepper Potts
Flash and flying make the wrapper, but the enters-ability is where this earns its slot: a bounce that reads as tempo defense while functioning as a reset button for the narrow slice of your board it can touch. Return a creature with a spent enters-trigger and recast it; pull an artifact or creature out from under a removal spell in response; pick up a token-generating artifact before it dies. The clause restricts the target to an artifact or creature, so enchantments and planeswalkers sit outside its reach; this is a value piece for a permanent base built on those two types. The artifact half is the tell about which toolbox tuned it. Bouncing a creature is pure tempo, but bouncing an artifact grows the body, nudging you toward a shell that refunds equipment, mana rocks, and repeatable value artifacts rather than merely protecting fatties. That growth is a one-time reward, though: the counter only lands when Rescue itself enters, so a given cast pumps at most once, and flickering the artifact later does nothing for it. To grow it again you send Rescue back and recast it, forfeiting any counter it carried. The restraint is baked into the "up to one other" wording: it cannot bounce itself to reset its own trigger, capping value at one target per cast. Flash keeps every one of those choices open at instant speed, so nothing about the sequence telegraphs itself a turn early.
