Renegade Warlord
An anthem that only fires when it leads the charge. The +1/+0 to each other attacker is the payoff for committing to the red board-wide aggro plan: hold the team back and the warlord is just a 3/3 body with first strike, but swing wide and every other creature in the attack gets bigger, turning a row of small soldiers into a lethal wave. That conditional is what keeps the effect from being free value. A static team-wide anthem on this body would be unremarkable; gating the pump behind a declared attack means the warlord rewards a board you have already built rather than one you are still assembling, and it punishes you for sitting back. The trigger affects each other attacking creature, so the warlord pumps the swarm but never itself, and its first strike is a separate clause that lets it survive combat on its own terms rather than a beneficiary of the bonus it hands out. The real axis is the swarm. This is an attack-triggered effect that scales with the number of bodies rather than the size of any one, asking the deck around it to flood the board before the warlord turns the math lethal.
