Razorgrass Invoker

Creature — Elf Scout3 generic manaGreen mana

Eight mana is the price of admission on the activated ability, and it tells you exactly what this creature is for: a mana sink for a green go-wide deck, waiting for the game to run long enough that surplus lands have nowhere better to go. The pump is targetable and repeatable, granting +3/+3 to itself and up to one other creature (each), which converts a stalled midgame board into an alpha strike. Point it inward alone and the 4/3 becomes a 7/6; hand the second +3/+3 to another creature and a blocker suddenly clears a lethal path. That eight-mana ceiling is the honest tax on an effect that can be fired every turn without a card cost: you only reach it once the deck has flooded on mana, which is precisely the moment a wide green shell is asking what to spend on. Vigilance is what makes the activation safe rather than reckless. Without it, sinking eight mana into an attack would leave your ground open; with it, the same body swings for lethal and still stands back to block, so the alpha strike never trades away your defense. This is a plain common-rarity payoff for a green board that wants extra creatures more than a splashy finisher, filling a curve slot with a late-game outlet rather than a bomb. It does one thing, on schedule, for one kind of deck.
