Rampant Frogantua
A Frog whose entire strategic clock is measured in eliminations. The static bonus does nothing until a player has actually lost, which inverts the usual beatstick math: for most of a game this is a plain 3/3 with trample, a body that trades down and gets chumped without complaint. Then the first opponent dies, and it swings to a 13/13; a second death makes it 23/23, and the number keeps climbing as the table thins. The combat-damage trigger is what turns that into a runaway rather than just a large creature. Connecting for thirteen mills thirteen, and you may put any number of lands from that pile onto the battlefield tapped, so the reward for landing a hit is a burst of ramp scaled to exactly how oversized the Frog has become. The design cleanly stacks two green primitives (trample and land-into-play) on a counter that only advances through attrition, meaning the payoff arrives precisely when a multiplayer game has already tilted. And trample is doing quiet, decisive work: with double-digit power against a single blocker, nearly all of that damage carries through, so the mill trigger fires close to the creature's full size rather than getting soaked by a token. It is a snowball built for the back half of a game rather than the opening, a threat that punishes a board where someone has already been knocked out and asks the survivors to answer a body that grows every time the pod loses a seat.
